Newbridge WaveBridge 7812 is the carrier grade powerful outdoor mount wireless access point delivers high performance with 802.11n 2.4 GHz radio. As a FAT AP, WaveBridge 7812 can run in standalone mode while as a FIT AP, WaveBridge 7812 must be used together with wireless controller.

WaveBridge 7812 designed with enhanced RF transmission technology, provides greater coverage and higher signal quality, and can be widely used in carrier, enterprise, industry and other markets.

WaveBridge 7812 is perfect solution helps service providers economically and dynamically deploy broadband services, hotspots services and offer wireless broadband services where fixed line access is limited. It is ideal solution for hotels, resorts, university campus, factory and other enterprises that need extend their indoor broadband access to outdoor users where Ethernet cabling is a challenge.

WaveBridge 7812 support 802.11b/g/n protocol standard, built-in IEEE 802.11n 2.4 GHz 2x2 MIMO RF radio frequency, support up to 300 Mbps data transfer rate.

WaveBridge 7812 uses the industry best chipset and component in order to provide excellent performance and competitive price.

WaveBridge 7812 uses enhanced RF transmission technology, providing 500mW transmit power at the same time. With built-in high-gain panel antenna, it greatly improves the wireless coverage and throughput, which best fit for wireless broadband deployment at suburban and rural.

Multicast optimization

Multicast optimization convert multicast packet of destination address into unicast packet. With this wireless forwarding, it helps achieve high speed forwarding multicast members, optimized wireless multicast data forwarding.

Time Division Channel Access (TDCA)

It provides superior wireless performance, support more clients per Access Point (AP) and lower latency under heavy load.

Time Division Channel Access (TDCA) is proprietary polling technology innovated by Newbridge Wireless. TDCA improves overall performance in Point-to-Point (PtP) and Point to Multipoint (PtMP) installations as well as noisy environments because it reduces latency, increases throughput and offers better tolerance against interference. Because of its advantages, TDCA also increases the maximum possible number of users that can associate with an AP that uses TDCA.

Both distributed and centralized deployment can be used to detect AP failure through the WaveManager software, hence reduce resolution and troubleshooting time.

Supporting user isolation policy

The WaveBridge 7812 support wireless user isolation from another. After this function is enabled, the two wireless clients cannot directly communicate with each other so that they are shifted to access the upstream wireline network. With this function, operators can force wireless users to be charged or authenticated on the specified gateway or server, thus providing hot spot applications.
