With high gain directional antennas, WaveStation 6800 deliver 4 times the coverage, 4 times the bandwidth and 8 times the user density compared to legacy AP solutions. This equates to 75% less equipment, cable runs, and switch ports, resulting in a significant reduction in installation and ongoing management efforts compared to competitive solutions.
WaveStation 6800 is ceiling or tripod mount indoor AP designed for large meeting room, studio, sports venues and environment required larger wireless coverage. It is suitable for temporary deployment and long-term deployment.

Embedded centralized RF management
WaveStation 6800 support unified management and control for multiple RF modules. Modify of all radio services parameter and other operations template binding can be done through a unified web console. Meanwhile, radio spectrum navigation, dynamic user load balancing and frequency band isolation technology can work together to provide complementary enhancement performance.
Frequency band isolation
For legacy AP, even using three different non overlap channels (1, 6, 11), they may still interfere happened which cause serious impact on AP performance. WaveStation 6800 using frequency band isolation techniques to enhance the ability of RF channel filtering, which greatly reduces the interference between 2.4GHz non overlap channels, which provide 3 times RF performance.
Support roam steering
Client roaming can be navigating through reject weak signal access and client reconnect trigger features. Reject weak signal access can effectively prevent the access of client with weak signal, purpose of doing so is to guide the client is associated to a stronger RF signal. When a wireless client moves from one coverage area to another RF coverage area, original coverage signal will become less, which caused degrade network connectivity. Client reconnect trigger help initiate and trigger the client connect to a stronger RF signal.
Flexible and efficient temporary deployment
Provide tripod rack mounting flexible installation for environment that is not suitable for fixed installation. Advantages of tripod rack mount are AP position and height can be adjustable at any time. When not in use, WaveStation 6800 and tripod rod can be keep in the cabinet. If temporary deployment required, you can quickly open the cabinet installation.
Enhanced RF technology
Support maximum transmit power of 27dBm (EIRP), provides greater coverage, reducing deployment density. With high-gain internal antenna, covering more than 900 square meters meeting place and studio. Improved receiver sensitivity, provide better communication with the tablet, mobile phones and other handheld devices.

High level of protection design
IP30 waterproof and dustproof protection design, provide high reliability design.
Support user load balancing, 3 x 2.4GHz RF can be adjusted automatically to each other. The RF with high user load will reject the new user access and redirect it to other low 2.4GHz.
Support spectrum navigation, AP can detect whether the client supports dual-band. When 2.4GHz RF at high load, it will reject the new user access, provide probability access to the lower load 5GHz radio.
Support channel sharing, which can automatically detect packets send by adjacent AP, prevent simultaneous conflict transmission.
Support channel multiplexing ignores weak signals avoidance, enhanced AP channel multiplexing capability.
Support intelligent anti-interference, proactively detect undesired WLAN equipment, adjusting the background noise and reduce impact to the AP.
Easy to use and easy maintenance
Under distributed deployment, WaveManager can be used to unify wireless access point software.
Under centralized deployment, WaveController allow unified configuration, RF strategic planning and software version upgrades.
Both distributed and centralized deployment can be used to detect AP failure through the WaveManager software, hence reduce resolution and troubleshooting time.
Supporting user isolation policy
The WaveStation 6800 support wireless user isolation from another. After this function is enabled, the two wireless clients cannot directly communicate with each other so that they are shifted to access the upstream wireline network. With this function, operators can force wireless users to be charged or authenticated on the specified gateway or server, thus providing hot spot applications.
